Hi, Crystal! I can tell you that there is more to life at
Walt Disney World as a vegetarian than just salad. You'll find veggie burgers, falafel, vegetarian sandwiches, and other delcious options.
Quick service dining includes
Satu'li Canteen at Pandora. You'll find a crispy tofu bowl, with a choice of bases and sauces, as well as a vegetable bao bun that at least one of my children has declared her favorite food ever.
Tangerine Cafe at Epcot has a flavorul and generously portioned vegetable platter, as well as several side dishes that fit the vegetarian bill.
If it's time for a table service meal, check out
Sanaa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani Village. They have a vegetarian menu, so ask for it when you arrive, but they also have options on the regular menu - including the absolutely incredible bread service. That is a meal in and of itself - all vegetarian, and so good.
Many of the buffets will have several options for vegetarians - pasta dishes, vegetable selections, and, yep, even salads. And did you know that you can really go to ANY Walt Disney World restaurant and ask about vegetarian options. At many table service locations, dishes can be adapted to accommodate a vegetarian diet, giving your son even more amazing dining choices.
Blaze Pizza at Disney Springs even has vegan pizza crust and cheese - and you can add whatever toppings work for you.
I hope this helps your son eat a little happier on your upcoming vacation.
Anna
