    My son will be turning 5 on our trip May 2015. What is something I can take him to do that will be unforgettable on his birthday? I have never been so I have no idea what is in store for us :) Thanks

    Hi Amanda!  I'm so excited for you and your family.Please be sure to pick up a birthday button for your son at any Guest Service location on Disney property.  It is sure to bring him lots of well wishes, and maybe even a few pixie-dusted surprises during your stay.  I have a little boy the same age as you, and I am happy to share some of his favorite special experiences at Walt Disney World, that I hope your son will enjoy as well.

    My little one loves pirates, and a super special treat was being transformed into a swashbuckling scallywag.  At The Pirates League your son can become a member of Captain Jack's crew with a little help from some veteran pirates.  The special attention they receive during this transformation is something your little one will never forget.   And mom or dad can even join in on the fun and be made over themselves. I recommend you make a reservation up to 180 days in advance of your trip by calling (407) WDW-STYLE, or (407)  939-7895.

    After the transformation you could top off the night with a Pirate & Pals Fireworks Voyage. This fun-filled cruise sails the Seven Seas Lagoon from Disney's Contemporary Resort.  On your journey you will meet some Never Land pirates, enjoy delicious snacks, and view Wishes Nighttime Spectacular from the best seat in the house.  My whole family really enjoyed this adventure, my sons love to tell everyone they meet about how they sailed with the pirates at Walt Disney World.
