My son will be turning 3 while we are on our trip to Disney in the fall. I want to make reservations for a character meal on his birthday and have a cake to celebrate. I was thinking Chef Mickey-any other suggestions? Is there one with Buzz and Woody?

Hey Jennifer!  You are thinking right ... I can't recommend any better place to celebrate a child's birthday than at Chef Mickey.  Just a truly magical dining experience, complete with good food, napkin waving and a special birthday song to boot.  Unfortunately there is not a dining experience with Buzz and Woody.  He can meet them in several locations, including at MK and DHS, but no dining experience.
And with regards to cakes, I can highly recommend the Mickey Mouse head birthday cake.  We were just there in June and celebrated my youngest one's birthday.  We got that cake and let me say, I think it was the best birthday cake I have ever had in my life.  If that is more than what you need, the smaller cakes are also quite good as well.
I hope this information helps and that your son has a magical birthday at WDW.  Thanks for coming to the Mom's Panel.
