My son will be turning one a few days after we leave the parks but we will officially be celebrating his birthday during this trip. What are the best celebration options for us celebrating for someone so young?

    Hi Melanie

Happy Birthday to your son! How awesome that he is celebrating his first birthday at the most magical place on earth!

First, make sure you note that you are celebrating his birthday on the Advanced Dining Reservation (ADR). Depending upon the restaurant you choose, they may bring out a little cupcake with candle and sing Happy Birthday to him. The best place for a one-year old to celebrate his birthday is a character meal, such as Chef Mickey.

You can also get him a "Happy Birthday" celebration button when you arrive that you can put on his shirt or diaper bag.

Make the entire day all about him. Let him meet the characters he loves, let him splash in the fountains and even consider hanging out at the resort and letting him play in the pool all day!
