My son is turning 6 in January and we have season passes (fl res). What would be something special to plan to do for his birthday? He will like anything I plan, no preference. I want to do something "character centric" that includes some kind of

    HI Stephanie!

Celebrating a birthday at Disney is a very special experience.  I would plan to have a birthday meal at Chef Mickey's.  The atmosphere at this restaurant is very lively and fun.  We began our children's birthday celebrations with a character breakfast at Chef Mickey's.  It's a great way to start the day.  The characters your son will meet at this restaurant include Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto.  We brought a birthday card for the characters to sign rather then an autograph book.  It makes a great birthday souvenir.

When you arrive at the parks be sure to stop by guest services to recieve a free "Happy Birthday" button. Your son will be stopped by countless cast members throughout the day to wish him a Happy Birthday.

Another fun birthday experience for your son is the pirate makeover at the Pirates League.  Click here to read about the packages that they offer.

Enjoy celebrating your son's birthday at Disney!
