My son will turn 10 the day after we arrive at Disney World. I've recently read that his age will be based on how old he is at arrival. Will we be able to receive his meals at a child's rate instead of adult rate? Every penny saved helps!

Hi, Jennifer! I think you are going to like this answer because, yes, you read it correctly! You should definitely purchase your son's ticket and meals based on his age at the start of your travel window, which is nine.  That means that he still qualifies for a child's ticket and kids' meals this year.  He won't have to have an adult ticket or food choices until your next trip! I completely understand about wanting to save every penny that you can. A penny saved is a penny earned, and you just earned a bunch of them. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
