Hi my son will be three in November we are thinking of bringing him to Disney in August but have been told that there is not a lot for him to do until he is a little older. Are there plenty of options for him?

Hi, Nicholas!  I've been taking my daughters to Walt Disney World since they were infants, and I can't think of an age that's too young to enjoy the theme parks.

Your son will still be able to enjoy many of the attractions, as most do not have height restrictions.  You'll be able to do classics such as Pirates of the Caribbean or the Haunted Mansion, as well as favorites like Buzz Lightyear and Toy Story Midway Mania.  There are on stage attractions, such as Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular and Voyage of the Little Mermaid that are big hits with many kids this age.

That doesn't even address the parades, the character meet and greet opportunities, the fireworks - oh my!  So much to do, so little time!!

The biggest bonus is that at age two, your son is still free!  Admission to the theme parks is free, and if he dines at any buffet meals, he can eat for free as well.

I always tell people that the memories you make may not be ones that your son remembers, but my home is filled with photos and souvenirs from trips we've taken with our daughters when they were young.  You will cherish the moments you get to spend showing him the magic of Walt Disney World.

Oh - and if he hasn't had his first haircut yet, check out Harmony Barbershop on Main Street.  What a wonderful place to have your first haircut!  I still have the mouse ears that say "First Haircut" on the back for each of my girls!

I hope you decide to go, and that your vacation is wonderful!
