Welcome to planDisney, Kristen! I'm glad you stopped by to chat with us about your theme park ticket, but I am sorry to hear that your son is not feeling well! I hope you will still be able to enjoy some magical moments at the Walt Disney World Resort this week!
Kristen, while I am not sure what exact type of ticket you have to offer complete guidance, what I can share with you is that
multi-day theme park tickets will
expire at a certain time after their first use; so if a guest has leftover days that are unused, those days are not generally able to be transferred or refunded. Of course, as emergencies sometimes happen, if you are already on-site, you can always stop by
Guest Relations or visit the front desk of your Disney Resort hotel to inquire about any possible options or exceptions that might be considered in your case. Another option would be to reach out to a Cast Member at the
Existing Tickets line for personal assistance.
If your theme park tickets have not been used at all yet, you might have a few more options. Typically you can
modify the start date of an unused theme park ticket or reassign the ticket to another guest on your Family & Friends List in the
My Disney Experience mobile app. To explore those options, find My Tickets & Passes in your mobile app and if the ticket can be modified, you should see the option to do so directly in your app. If not, you can again reach out to Guest Relations if you're on-site or give them a call for direct help.
Kristen, I hope this helps to point you in the direction of finding a ticket solution that works for you! And I hope your son starts to feel better soon! If you have any other questions that we can help with, please come back to
planDisney and let us know! We're always here to make magic with you!
Magic Awaits,
Alison
