My son is going on his senior trip to Walt Disney in a couple weeks. I'm planning on sending him with a prepaid gift card instead of sending him with cash, are these accepted in the parks?

Hello and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Congratulations!  I also have a senior in my household and I cannot think of a better way of celebrating a most MAGICAL moment.

You can most definitely use prepaid gift cards (with the Visa logo) inside the parks.  However, I do recommend sending your son with a Disney Gift Card.  He will be able to purchase merchandise and food within the Walt Disney World Resort area.  This is my plan for my son's upcoming WDW visit and this is exactly what I did for my first son who graduated three years ago.  A Disney Gift Card is a great way to keep one's budget in check.

Diane's Tip of the Day:  Make sure to have your son stop by The Chapeau to purchase a Mickey graduation cap.  What better way to remember where your son visited the year he graduated.

Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON!"
