    My son is going on his Senior Class Trip to WDW. Instead of giving him all cash, I was going to give him an American Express gift card. Does WDW accept American Express gift cards?

    Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question. I am sure your son is going to have a fantastic time on his senior class trip to Walt Disney World Resort. After talking with a Cast Member I have learned that as long as you purchase an American Express gift card with the word "debit" on it, it will be accepted. According to this Cast Member, the regular American Express gift cards are not accepted. If you would like to contact a Cast Member yourself, please visit the online Phone Directory to call Walt Disney World Resort.
