My son previously bought a lightsaber blade and hilt at Disneyland. He brought back the hilt with him to Hawaii but left the blade in California. Is it possible for me to mail the blade at Downtown Disney Starwars Trading Post?

Bright suns, Verna! We are so happy you found your way to our little corner of the galaxy. It looks like you and your son have just returned from a trip to Batuu! I hope you were able to keep out of sight of the First Order and arrive back safely to your home planet!

While you may have arrived in one piece, it looks like a lightsaber blade was lost in transmission. I'm happy to help find a way to retrieve that for you! As I'm decoding your question, I have a few options for you depending on your exact situation. Let's dive right in!

First Order Cargo right there in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is in charge of interplanetary shipping. If you have purchased something during your time on Batuu but don't want to take it to the land of Fantasy, Adventure, or Tomorrow, go ahead and bring your merchandise along with the original receipt to the Cast Members here. They will be happy to help you organize safe transport for your parcels!

If you have already exited the magic for the day and are looking for a solution in Downtown Disney District that does not require a theme park ticket, my best advice is to confirm with a Cast Member ahead of time if shipping services are available at any particular merchandise location, including Star Wars Trading Post. After speaking with several Cast Members, it seems that this shipping service is available but a bit elusive and may change locations to keep the First Order at bay. I would suggest connecting with a Cast Member upon arrival if you are purchasing a new blade or if you are looking to ship an already purchased blade. In the latter case, you will need to have that original receipt handy to have access to these services. If you have more specific questions, you could also get in touch with the Merchandise Guest Services team ahead of time by calling (877) 560-6477 or emailing merchandise.guest.services@disneyparks.com. They would be happy to help light the way!

While we are coming in for a landing, I do want to mention that if you are a Guest of a Disneyland Resort Hotel, the Bell Services teams are also happy to help arrange safe transport and shipping of any purchases back to your home planet!

Verna, I sure hope this was helpful! I wouldn't want your Jedi out there unprotected from the First Order without his complete lightsaber! While he awaits its arrival, I highly recommend listening to or watching the special episode of the planDisney Podcast focusing on all the tips and tricks for a successful visit to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge! My fellow panelists Adrianna and Michelle know all the underground and not to miss things to do and see and eat!

If you have any more questions, you know the way to us here at planDisney.

May the force be with you!
