Hello there!
Welcome, and thank you for bringing your question to
planDisney. I’m glad to hear you’re planning a visit to the
Disneyland Resort with your little one! Exploring the magic of the Happiest Place on Earth alongside your son will be such a special experience for him and for you too! I have loved seeing the theme parks through my children’s eyes.
Children ages 2 and under don’t need a
theme park ticket for admission when visiting with an accompanying adult. However, if your son will have reached his 3rd birthday at the time of your trip to the theme parks, you should plan on purchasing a ticket and making a
theme park reservation for him to enter
Disneyland Park and/or
Disney California Adventure Park.
There will be many attractions, shows, parades and other experiences throughout the resort that your little guy is bound to enjoy. Be sure to take a peek at the
attractions list before your visit. If an attraction is advertised as being for “any height” or he meets the minimum height requirement, then it’s safe for your toddler to ride! Some favorite attractions my family likes to experience together in the theme parks are “it’s a small world,” Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Jungle Cruise, Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sulley to the Rescue!, and The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure.
I hope this helps, and that you have a perfectly pixie-dusted trip to the resort with your family. Please don’t hesitate to
write back and ask more questions as you continue to plan your visit.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
