My 15yo son is going to be in the parks for 2 days in February 2014. Do you have an estimate of cost for him, probably only at counter service restaurants? Thanks!

    Hi Julie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom Panel! Thank you for your question.

Knowing that teenage boys can eat their weight in food but I would say that $60/day would be a good guestimate. This will give him enough money for counter service meals and a snack each day.

Here is an example meal at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Café in the Magic Kingdom.

    Entrée (Taco Salad) -        $8.79
    Fountain Drink -                 $3.19
    Tax (approx.)                     $0.71
    TOTAL                              $12.69

I chose Pecos Bill's because they offer a buffet-style toppings bar so your son can fill up his Taco Salad without breaking his budget.

Here is a list of restaurants which has menu items for $14.99 or less. This will give you a good idea of items your son can chose.

I hope this helps. If you have any more questions please come back and see us.

    Have a pixie-dusted day!
