Hi Staci,
I'm happy to welcome you aboard planDisney! Thanks for sailing by with your question. I'm sorry that your son isn't able to experience
Disney Cruise Line with you, but how fun that your Aunt can join you! Sometimes even the most magical plans change so, let's get your new plans worked out.
You may be able to
make these changes on the Disney Cruise Line website by signing into your account. Under the
Already Booked tab, select
My Reservations and then Modify Reservation. There, you can edit your travel party by following the prompts. If needed, you can change your sail date, modify your stateroom (subject to availability), or even cancel your reservation (I hope you don't!).
Now, if you have already paid in full for your cruise, made your reservation with a Future Cruise Credit, or booked under a restricted rate or in the Concierge category, you will need to
call the Disney Cruise Line Contact Center directly for assistance. Also, if you booked your vacation through a travel agent, you will need to contact the agent to make this change.
Staci, since you will be traveling with your Aunt, I have some ideas for ways for you to enjoy an adult vacation! I love traveling with other adults and have made an art of enjoying Disney Cruise Line vacations without children. One of the most relaxing places on a ship with other adults is the Rainforest Room in the
Senses Spa & Salon. You can pre-book a Length of Cruise Pass using the Book / Manage Cruise Activities page under the Already Booked tab. You can also book a Length of Cruise Pass or One-Day Pass once onboard (subject to availability) by stopping by the Senses Spa after 1:00 p.m. on your embarkation day.
I hope you and your Aunt have a wonderful vacation, Staci, and that you bring home a souvenir for your son! Please let us know if you have other questions; we are here to help!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
