my son will be 11 on our next trip we always do the dd plan. Can he order and adult app and then a child's meal? Cause he would like the apps but I know he will want a children's meal. thanks for the info!

Hi Tara! Thanks for writing with another great question! There should be no problem at all for your son to orderr all or parts of his meal from the kids menu. Often times, they will give him a larger portion, but you might have to ask for that. For us, the Dining Plan was always a great way to get my daughter to try new foods. For some reason, she was (and probably still is) more adventurous at Disney World, and they are most accomodating. We would often make special requests, like sauce on the side, less spicy and fries instead of veggies, and suddenly she was loving things like fresh fish! It's worth a try since you're paying the cost of an adult dining plan. The servers are also excellent at making suggestions as to what the younger guests might enjoy.

Write back with any other questions as you plan your magical vacation Tara!
