Ahoy, Amanda!
Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! One of the most imaginative spaces on every Disney ship is
"it's a small world" nursery! Your little sailor will love the whimsical theming when he spends time in this area. Since he is under the age of three, he will be welcome to join in all the fun provided by the wonderful youth counselors. He'll be able to participate in arts and crafts, games and story time while he's there, and I think you'll find the activities to be engaging and age appropriate. I've even seen Disney Characters pop in to check on the youngest cruisers on the ship! And even though he's not quite old enough to visit the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab for secured programming, he'll still have plenty of opportunities to check out these spaces during their Open House hours that are offered every day. You'll be able to accompany him to the area that is open and enjoy not only the themed rooms, but also some of the programming. It will give him a taste of what he can experience by himself on his next sailing.
Amanda, Open House hours will be listed in your daily cruise newsletter each day so you can plan when you want to visit with your Mouseketeer. The Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab are also open for exploration on the first afternoon so it will be the perfect opportunity to enjoy family fun with your little one. Another spot on the ship I know he'll love is
Nemo's Reef (Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy), Dory's Reef (Disney Wonder) or Nephews' Splash Zone (Disney Magic). When my kiddos were younger, they couldn't get enough of the water fountains and pop up jets!
Amanda, thank you for reaching out with your question. If we can help you further, please let us know.
Have a magical day!
Nancy
