My son is 20 months old and 35" tall. Where are the best "rides" for him at his age/height? Also we are staying at Saratoga Springs resort in late January (myself, hubby, MIL, and son) any tips on room location as I hear it's very spread

Hi, Chris!  I have been pretty lucky with my three girls that at 20 months old, I could pretty much take them on anything and they'd be okay.  They hadn't yet learned to be afraid of the Haunted Mansion, and even with the cannon battle in Pirates of the Caribbean, they were perfectly fine there as well.  Most young children that I've traveled with have enjoyed those attractions as well, but I also recommend things like It's a Small World, Buzz Lightyear, Toy Story Midway Mania, and Journey Into Imagination.

You also might want to check out some things that will appeal to the musical side of your little guy.  My kids loved Voyage of the Little Mermaid and Playhouse Disney.

We also loved taking our kids on the Kilimanjaro Safari Ride, the Jungle Cruise, and then the train out to Rafiki's Planet Watch.  They really enjoyed the animals!

As for Saratoga Springs Resort - it is quite spread out.  Where you want to be depends on what you want to do.  I always request the Springs section, as it's the closest to the Carriage House and the main pool area.  You'll only have a short walk from the Carriage House to your room from here, and if you want to grab a quick bite to eat, it's just a quick hop on in to Artist's Palette.  My back up plan is always Congress Park.  It's walking distance to Downtown Disney, and I like the view from the rooms on the back side - which overlook Downtown Disney and all it's glory!

    Have a wonderful vacation!
