My son, Isaac, and I will be visiting WDW from October 5-October 10 2008. We are staying at the All Star Movie Resort. I was wondering if transportation would take up most of our time to and from?

    Hi Jessica!

October is an off-season time to visit Disney so the crowds should be lighter.  You will be visiting during the Food & Wine Festival (a delicious time to be in Epcot!!!) so there will be more of a crowd in Epcot than other parks.

As for the bus system, NO, it will not take up most of your time going back and forth,  Sometimes waits are longer than others, but I don't think you will experience any significant delays.  The All-Star resorts do sometimes share buses and often much is made of their 'slow' transportation.  What is not discussed as often is that the value resorts are all much much larger than the other Disney resorts, so they have many more buses servicing them.  In my experience the end result is a bit of a wash.  Yes, you'll share a bus, but since there are more of those buses running then you shouldn't be waiting long.  This is especially true in a slower month like October.

I hope you and Isaac have a wonderful vacation!
