My son will be 1 and a half when we visit and if a cot isnt available, are we able to bring our own fold away travel cot for him to sleep in?

chEARs Claire! Thanks for crossing the pond to us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Visiting Walt Disney World is extraordinary all the time, but visiting with the littles is MAGICAL!

I have traveled to Walt Disney World Resort with babies/toddlers many a time, and one of my favorite things are the complimentary cots available at every Disney Resort hotel. Most of the “cribs” are standard size Pack n’ Plays, but some larger cribs are available. The cots come with a fitted sheet and a standard mattress. If you plan on staying in one of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts, you will also have a highchair in your entryway closet. We love the Villas because the 1 Bedroom Deluxe Villa and larger all come with complimentary washer and dryer - an absolute must with kiddos!

You can request a crib either at arrival or by calling your hotel beforehand. Disney also has Featured Providers where you can rent a cot or a toddler bed so that you don’t have to travel internationally with one. We have happily used Kingdom Strollers several times. The process was very straightforward, and the products are excellent.

Claire, it’s a great time to visit Walt Disney World! So many exciting things are happening, including the 25th anniversary of “The Lion King.” I’m sure your babe will love dancing with Timon and friends at the “Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party” on Discovery Island in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park! Also, when you are out and about in the Parks, make sure to take advantage of the Baby Care Centers. They are located in all four Theme Parks and are a great place to take a break, change a diaper or have a snack.

    I wish you a pixie-dusted visit!
