Me son and I are goingour first disney cruise this December. And was what will the weather be like in the Bahamas? We ar leaving out of Galveston. What to make sure I pack the right cloths and in hoping of swimming. And any tips would be helpful too.

    Ahoy Joseph!
December is a wonderful time for you and your son to create some magical memories on your first Disney Cruise!  The weather should be very pleasant in the Bahamas with highs around 80 and lows in the mid to upper 60s.  I definitely think you will be able to swim since the pools are heated if the temperature drops below 75 degrees.  For the daytime, I would pack comfortable clothes and bathing suit attire.  In the evenings, I suggest khaki pants and golf shirts or button downs for you and your son. If you want to dress up for the formal nights,  a suit or sports coat or just a nice button down shirt with slacks is just fine. The inside and outside of the ship can be cool in the evenings so you may want to bring along a light jacket or sweater.
My number one tip is to read your daily cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator carefully each evening and bring along a highlighter so you can mark you and your son's "must do" activities.  I also suggest carrying it around with you to reference it often!  The ship will decked out from stem to stern with festive holiday decor so you will love the extra magic on your sailing.  There will be special holiday themed events that will be listed in your navigator that you may want to enjoy with your little sailor!  Another tip is to visit the Future Cruise Sales Desk if you think you may want to cruise again with Disney Cruise Line.  There are great onboard booking benefits and all you will need is a deposit to hold your cruise.  If you aren't sure when you may want to cruise again, you can book a "dummy date" and move it when you know a date that will work.
I hope my tips are helpful, Joseph! If I can assist you further, please let me know!
    Have a magical day!
