    My son is gluten and casiene free. Once I have made our dining ressies, how soon should I email the Special Diets Dept. with our info? Thanks for your assistance!

    I'm glad to help you out! I hope you find (as I always have) that Walt Disney World is among the easiest places to dine with a food allergies/special diets. The chefs are truly amazing and accommodating!

    I would go ahead and contact Special Diets as soon as you have your Advance Dining Reservation confirmation numbers. There isn't really a reason to wait, unless you think your dining times or days may still be in flux.

    Don't forget to mention your Special Dining needs when you check in at the restaurant. Most times, the Cast Members will confirm your needs before you can, but it never hurts to mention it if they haven't.
