Hi Elizabeth! I'm a bit of a germaphobe myself, so I sympathize with your son. Once, when my husband got a whiff of Lysol, he exclaimed "Smells like a vacation!" because I've been known to fumigate hotel rooms with it. Sometimes having those sanitizing products along makes us germaphobes feel more comfortable when we travel. If you wish to ship items to your resort in advance of your arrival, you're welcome to do so. The address for the
Caribbean Beach Resort is 900 Cayman Way, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830. Ship your package so that it arrives no more than a few days before you do, and put your name on it along with "Guest arriving on" and the date you'll check in.
I will tell you, however, that one of the reasons we love the resorts at Disney World is that the rooms are generally very clean. Also, the "MouseKeepers" are very responsive and aim to please, so if you desire a freshly-laundered bedspread or you think an area of your room needs more housekeeping attention, don't hesitate to make such a request. Disney wants its guests to be happy, and if you ever feel the cleanliness of your room is not on par with Disney standards, you should definitely speak up.
I hope you have a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions!
