    My son has food allergies and we want to reserve a room with a kitchen. Are kitchens only available in deluxe villas? There are only 3 of us and we want to get a well-priced room with the kitchen option..what do you suggest? Also, what is a kitchenette?

    Hi, Jackie!  The only places where you will find full kitchens are in the villas or in the Fort Wilderness cabins.  The villas with full kitchens are the one bedroom and larger, and they have full sized refrigerators, full oven/stove, toaster, dishwasher, washer and dryer. 

    The kitchenettes, which you will find in the studio villas and in the All Star Music family suites, have mini refrigerators - the kind you might put in a college dorm room, a microwave, and a sink area.  They do not have the full oven or dishwasher.

    You will have to decide if the kitchenette is going to be enough for your family's needs.  Since I'm not sure what meals you will need to prepare, it's hard for me to know if the kitchenette is going to be sufficient for your needs.

    I also want to remind you that if you contact any of the restaurants that you would like to dine in at least 48 hours prior to your advanced dining reservation, they will work with you to come up with some suggestions that fit your son's specific dietary needs.  That's really good to do, so that you know you can all go and enjoy a meal at some of the wonderful restaurants!
