What should my son expect for a cruise (San Degio) that falls on Easter? Will there be Easter related activities and the Easter Bunny?

    Hi there, Adriana!

Thanks for hopping over to planDisney with your Disney Cruise Line vacation planning question. We are eggs-perts in spending holidays aboard Disney ships!

While I couldn't take a peep at your cruise itinerary just yet since it is still a ways away, a Disney Cruise Line Cast Member let me know that activities such as an Easter egg hunt, holiday crafts and face painting are offered. You will also find themed photo backdrops in the lobby. Now, the Easter Bunny hasn't been spotted at sea, but you might find your favorite Characters in some special Easter attire. We know some Characters are all ears, so I hope that is a fun opportunity for great photos

In 2024, a special Hop into My Heart treat package with some delicious springtime treats was available through Onboard Gifts. This item was only available on select cruises out of Port Canaveral and Fort Lauderdale, but keep your eye out for them just in case they are offered on your cruise. There are usually special Easter treats available for purchase in the Sweet Shops onboard, too.

Once you board the ship, you will be egg-cited to see all the holiday offerings listed in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, so be sure to download it before your cruise.

Ears hoping you and your son have the best time on your vacation, Adriana! Let us know if you have other questions; we carrot-bout our fellow Guests!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
