While my son enjoys fireworks he tends to be a little anxious if we are to close , is there a good (safe) area on the parks to watch the fireworks ? We are planning to visit all parks this next May.

HI Vanessa! I can completely relate to this dilemina! My daughter was also weary of fireworks when she was little, even though the rest of the family loved them. We would have to scout out all of the locations that we could see the fireworks without her getting scared.

Some of my favorite places to watch the fireworks are not actually in the park at all and I would choose these locations even if my daughter didn't get anxious at the sound!

First, the beach at the Polynesian is a beautiful location to see Wishes. You can book an Advanced Dining Reservation (ADR) at Ohana at the Polynesian and then after dinner wander over to the beautiful beach and watch the fireworks.

Another favorite location is atop The Contemporary. You can make an ADR at The California Grill for around the time of Wishes (check the date/time for the specific date you are visiting as the time can vary) and then go on the balcony to view Wishes. You can see the fireworks from above the Cinderella Castle!

I hope you hvae a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
