    My son and I are going on the Dream in January. I am a picky eater. (Fortunately he is not!) What options are there for picky parents at the sit-down meals? THANKS!!

    Never fear, there should be plenty of food for you to enjoy on your cruise on the beautiful Disney Dream in January!

    Be sure to share your concerns about your pickiness with your servers in the main dining rooms. They might have a suggestion that you hadn't thought of. It is also a perfect time to try something new, since there is no restrictions on what you order in the dining rooms. I will admit to having ordered something that I thought sounded interesting, only to find that it was not a food that I enjoyed. The dining room servers are extremely accommodating.

    At every meal, there is a "lighter fare" section that includes a plain grilled chicken breast or sirloin steak. You can choose a side dish from the main menu or a baked potato to accompany your meat. This is my "go-to" area of the menu if one of the main entrées does not jump out to me. Also, adults are welcome to order off of the children's menu, so if you enjoy Mickey Mac 'n Cheese and chicken tenders, they can be yours!

    Even with the pickiest of eaters (my daughters on our early cruises), none of us has ever left the dining room hungry. I'm sure you will have a wonderful time on your cruise, and maybe you will find something new to eat. Be sure to encourage your adventurous eating son to try new foods as well!
