Hey there, hi there, Karen!
It's one of the things my kids looked forward to most during their years in high school - the senior trip to
Walt Disney World. They loved visiting the theme parks with their friends, riding some of their favorite rides, and definitely sharing some of their most loved
dining experiences.
You have a few options, Karen. First, you can put his food budget on a
Disney gift card. The cards are sold in set increments up to $500, and it's something he can wear on a lanyard so it's accessible.
Another option is Apple Pay. I will say, you do want him to have a backup, because not every venue takes Apple Pay. On my visit last month, I did notice a lot of places do now accept this contactless form of payment. The same is true of Google Pay. All he'll need is his cell phone.
I know most kids do counter service locations, but some of my kids' most memorable moments from their senior trip were the character meals they shared with their friends. He can
make those reservations now if it's something he's interested in doing.
Karen, I hope your son has moments on this trip that become some of his favorite high school memories.
Anna
