my son didn't use all of his days on his magic bands and I want to find out if they are expired or still good before I purchase more. I see there is a 12 digit code on the band and was wondering if there was any way to find out online Thanks

    Hi Cindy!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! This is a great question regarding unused ticket days, and I think we can help you find the right answer.

Magic Your Way tickets expire 14 days after first use. This means that once your son used his Magic Band to enter a park, he would have 14 days to use any remaining park days left on the band. Even if there were unused days left, they would expire after 14 days.

Do you remember if you added the No Expiration Option to your tickets? This add-on option is no longer widely available, but depending on how long ago you purchased your tickets you might have had it as an option. It was an additional fee, but all days remaining on those tickets would not expire.

If you are unsure if you purchased the No Expiration Option, there are few things you can check. I would start by going to your My Disney Experience page. Choose “Reservations and Tickets”. If days remain on a No Expiration Option ticket, it should be listed there along with the person it is assigned to.

Disney does have a method to check if days remain on a ticket either at the Walt Disney World Resort, or via email.  At the resort, you can take the Magic Band to any theme park ticket window, Resort Hotel concierge desk, or to Guest Relations at Downtown Disney. From home, you can use the email method by clicking on the above link and following the instructions provided.

I hope this helps you to solve your mystery of remaining ticket days. I am so happy that you will be returning to the Walt Disney World Resort for another magical vacation! There is always something new and exciting to experience, which is just one of the many reasons I continue to bring my family back as well.

    Have a magical day!
