Welcome to planDisney, Amber! Thanks so much for stopping by with your question today. It sounds like you have an amazing Disney trip planned, and I'm happy to help you navigate
Disability Access Service (DAS) so your whole family can enjoy the parks together.
With DAS, your son will be able to select return times for attractions using the
My Disney Experience app, and up to three other immediate family members can join him through the Lightning Lane each time. However, there is no re-ride capability for the other members of your party, meaning that once the first group has used DAS to experience the attraction, they cannot swap out for a different group to ride again with him. The same four people in the DAS party you have already set up are the ones who will enter the Lightning Lane with your son each time. Riding parties cannot be edited or modified throughout the day, so the four family members you have already chosen will remain the same for all DAS selections.
If your entire party of seven wants to ride attractions together, the best way to do that is by coordinating ride times with
Lightning Lane Multi Pass. With this service, you can book overlapping return times for the entire group so that you can ride together whenever possible. This way, your whole family can enjoy attractions as a group, while still making the most of DAS for your son's needs.
I totally understand wanting to make sure everyone gets to experience the magic together, and hopefully this plan sets you up to maximize your time in the parks. I hope this helps, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
