Hey there, hi there, Jeffrey! Welcome to
planDisney, and thank you for giving us a second to congratulate your son! What an incredible achievement, and I can only imagine how proud you must be. Give him a big chEAR from us.
Walt Disney himself was indeed a boy scout, and he was a lifelong supporter of the Boy Scouts. If you ever get a chance to travel to the Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco, you'll find Walt's Silver Buffalo Award, the highest honor an adult can receive from the Boy Scouts.
There isn't specifically a letter of recognition from Disney, however, you can reach out and see if some pixie dust flies in your son's direction. The address you want to send your request to is:
Walt Disney World Communications
P.O. Box 10040
Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830
You can even address the letter to Mickey and Minnie if you want to target a response. I can't guarantee you'll get a reply, since they do get many invitations and other pieces of correspondence, but it can't hurt to try. It may also take a few weeks if they can reply due to the high volume of requests.
If you want to have a backup plan, just in case, there are some pretty cool items on
shopDisney you might choose as a special gift. Another good option is to present him with a
Disney Gift Card, which will let him use the card as he wants to - including maybe on an upcoming
Walt Disney World vacation!
Again, huge congratulations to your son, Jeffrey!
Anna
