My son and I are coming to Disney from 7/1 through 7/5. Since I have heard that parks might reach capacity, how do I get my tickets early? And does this guarantee that we get in? And which days are better to go? We want to just relax at our resort 2 days.

    Hi Shanna,

If your tickets are part of your package, you will get them upon check-in. If not, you can order your tickets on line or purchase them at your Disney resort as well. A ticket does not guarantee you admittance into a park. While each park has a different maximum capacity, Disney will not admit any guests above the capacity amount. This is done for your safety.

Fourth of July would be the day that has the greatest chance of reaching capacity at a park with Magic Kingdom being the most likely to fill. If you are in a park early in the morning, you should be okay with getting in. This may be the day just to relax at your resort. Another day would be Saturday as this is a busy day as well. However, without knowing when you are arriving or departing, you may want to relax the first day at your resort so you have full days to use your park tickets.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
