My son will be celebrating his 6th birthday while we are at Disney World. Can you send me some options that are age appropriate of things that are done or offered at the park to help make his day special?

Happy Un-Birthday to you Courtnye! My mom always said that MY birthday was HER birthday, so many happy returns!

I can't think of a more fantastic place to celebrate your son's birthday than at Walt Disney World Resort. There are so many exciting things happening this year, and I know there is plenty that will captivate your son

The first thing I suggest is to book an early morning Character Breakfast at your favorite Park. This way, your son can get birthday greetings from his favorite Pals, eat a delicious birthday breakfast and then be in the Park early to catch all of his top attractions. We love the breakfast at Tusker House Restaurant. Safari Donald Duck and friends host a wildly delicious meal full of exotic flavors! If you book an early meal here, you can head to Pandora - The World of Avatar and get ahead of the line on Flight of Passage and Navi River Journey!

Now, I think that no birthday at Walt Disney World Resort is complete without Mickey Mouse in attendance! You can order a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake to be delivered for the birthday boy at most restaurants on property. You can add the cake to an existing dining reservation by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. You may also order this cake in person at the restaurant's host podium or through the Concierge Desk at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

I don't know if the birthday boy is a more of a young Padawan or Jack Sparrow, but I know that The Pirates League or Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple are both great ways to spend a birthday! Your son can transform into a pirate (and even be gifted a new name) in a rustic lair located in Adventureland, or he can learn the ways of the Force in ancient Jedi temples at Disney's Hollywood Studios!

Regardless of which Park you visit, stop by Guest Relations to pick up a complimentary Celebration Button. You never know what type of Pixie Dust may come his way when he is wearing one!

    Wishing you a Magical Celebration!
