My son did a build your own lightsaber in Disney World and after 2 weeks home it seems the batteries are already needing to be replaced. He loves this thing, are the batteries replaceable? I can't find an obvious place where they would be located.

    Hi Collette!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. My nephews were absolutely obsessed with the light sabers they built at Mickey's Star Traders and my sister was in your shoes of deciphering the batteries to keep those bad boys lighting up!

If you look on the handle just before the colored portion of the light saber extends you should see a small hole with a screwhead inside. You'll need a small Phillip's head screwdriver to remove this and a small portion of the cover will pop off. Inside you'll see the spot to replace the two AA batteries. I hope this helps so your Jedi continue to fight the Dark Side!

Please let us know if you have any other questions!
