Heigh-Ho Janet,
Visiting Walt Disney World during its
50th Anniversary and the start of the holiday season is going to be a magical and memorable trip to remember. I’m sorry to hEAR your son is unable to join you and thus is left with an unused ticket.
Walt Disney World tickets are non-refundable but Hakuna Matata.
He has two options, first, because they are non-refundable he should know any unused ticket can be used towards tickets for future visits to Walt Disney World. He should keep the confirmation number or Ticket ID number in a safe place as well as the form of payment and date it was purchased. When the time to plan a new Walt Disney World vacation comes and if his ticket is still in his My Disney Experience account he can attempt to modify his ticket for a new date to be used. Prompts will guide him through the process and he will be set for a new visit. If at any time he needs to speak to a Cast Member he can call (407) 934-7639. Another option is he can
transfer the ticket to another Guest who would like to use it. Our panelist Thiana goes into detail for a Guest who has asked about this same scenario of transferring. Check out her answer
HERE.
Ultimately, I hope he is able to visit Walt Disney World and experience a truly amazing time with his family during the upcoming holiday season. If we can help with any further planning feel free to ask and we look forward to welcoming you Home.
Have a Practically Perfect Day,
Amy M.
