My son is autistic and we plan on getting the Guest Assistance Pass. We are interested in going to Fantasmic. Can that pass be used for Fantasmic? I heard you need to get there 60-90 minutes in advance and I don't think he will last that long.

    Hi Theresa,

I hope your pirate has a wonderful time in Walt Disney World.  My own princess has Aspergers and she thinks it's the best place on Earth for a vacation-these are her own words!

We have not gotten a Guest Assistance Pass for her because she manages the lines fine.  However, to obtain a Guest Assistance Pass, simply visit the Guest Relations window at any park and they will issue you the pass.

I did do some research for you on Fantasmic.  I was told to go to Guest Relations at the Disney's Hollywood Studios and ask them how they can accomodate you for the show.

I know my family does the Fantasmic Dinner and Show so that the wait time is 30 minutes.  Also, if your pirate can stay up later without a problem, go to the second show if it is offered as it is less crowded.

Fantasmic does have lights, fireworks and loud noises.  My princess usually covers her ears during the fireworks.

I hope you have a magical trip and let me know if you have any other questions!
    Beth
