My son is autistic and we were looking at caribbean beach resort with the 5th sleeper. Are we able to utilize a safety tent with this mattress?

Hi Chris, thanks for stopping by planDisney.

You've picked an excellent Resort. Caribbean Beach is all vibes - from lively Old Port Royal with the Banana Cabana Beach Bar to secluded Trinidad, which is chill but also close to the Skyliner station, your options are endless.

Speaking of relaxing, I really like the Murphy beds as the 5th sleeper option at the Resort. While it lets more families stay together, it also tucks up out of the way for more floor room. I looked up the safety tent you referenced, and it looks like the travel versions attach to the mattress via straps. You will have access to all sides of the mattress when the bed is extended, so you should be able to attach it. You should also be able to attach it to the queen beds in the room, giving you a backup option.

Chris, you might find some of these tips helpful for navigating the parks with your son. Walt Disney World is committed to making your vacation magical regardless of ability, and these services might help.
