My son is autistic & cerebral palsy how do we go about DSA and parent switch with my other kids that don't have a disability. Also is DSA only good for some or all rides?

    Hey Howdy Hey Amber!

From one Marylander to another, welcome back to planDisney!  I'm glad you stopped by again to be part of our world!  The magic of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is best enjoyed with the ones we love and I'm excited to hear that you're planning another trip with your family!

Amber, Walt Disney World Resort is committed to accommodating the needs of all guests and has a variety of services available for guests with disabilities.  There have been some recent updates to Disney's Disability Access Service and I'd recommend taking a look at the Accessibility Planning Guide and Recommendations for the latest information.  This is a great place to find out much more about the range of services offered by Disney and what may be available for your family.  There is also a guide that shares all of the Sensory Experience Details for various rides and attractions around the parks that you may find helpful.

After reviewing the information, if you feel that Disney's Disability Access Service is a good fit for the needs of your family, you can reach out to a Cast Member beginning 30 days ahead of your visit for a live video chat to determine eligibility and complete registration.  The maximum party size is 4 people or your immediate family members.  The Cast Member completing your registration can speak with you more specifically about who can be included in the party and any other options that may be available if needed.

When you're planning your visit, make sure to take time and visit one of my favorite places - Toy Story Land!  I love playing in Andy's backyard with my boys and we never miss a chance to grab a bite to eat at Woody's Lunch Box - the totchos are delicious!  Did you know you can also save time and skip the line by using Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering at this location and many others throughout the parks via the My Disney Experience Mobile App?

Amber, I hope this helps you plan for a most magical return to Walt Disney World Resort!  If you have any other questions, feel free to write me back directly or stop by to see any of my panelist pals here at planDisney - we're all ears!

    See ya real soon,
    Kristi
