Our son has autism and is on a gluten free casein free diet. Do any restaurants or counter service offer options for us? Thanks for your help.

Hi Jennifer! Both the table-service and counter-service restaurants at Walt Disney World can accommodate special dietary requests and provide meals free of gluten and casein for your son. In each of the parks, certain quick-service restaurants stock allergy-free foods:
    • Magic Kingdom – Columbia Harbour House, Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café,  Pecos Bill
    • Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park – Restaurantosaurus
    • Epcot – Liberty Inn, Sunshine Seasons and Electric Umbrella
    • Disney’s Hollywood Studios – Backlot Express, ABC Commissary and Rosie’s All-American Café
The chefs at the table-service restaurants will discuss your son's dietary needs with you and prepare a meal that meets his requirements. I recommend that you contact the Special Diets department by email at They can provide you with a list of gluten-free and dairy-free items available at the counter-service locations, recommend meals at the table-service locations, and contact the chefs at the table-service restaurants in advance of your visit to alert them of your son's dietary requirements. You can find more information about Special Diets at Disney by clicking here.

Hope you have a magical vacation! Come visit me again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! I'm happy to help!
