Hey there Annamarie,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! I'm thrilled to see that you're planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort for later this year. The
Holiday season is one of my favorite times to visit!
The Disneyland Resort has a deep dedication to providing a welcoming and inclusive experience for all Guests. While stroller wagons are not permitted in the parks according to the
Permitted Items page on the Disneyland Resort website, it's possible there might be other accommodations available that might be helpful. In general, my suggestion would be to reach out directly to a Cast Member by emailing disability.services@disneyland.com to see what accommodations might be available for you.
In particular, it sounds like the
Disability Access Service (DAS) might be a really helpful option to look into for your upcoming trip. This service is intended to accommodate a small percentage of Guests who, due to a developmental disability like autism or similar, are unable to wait in a conventional queue for an extended period of time.
Part of the registration process involves having a conversation with a Cast Member to determine eligibility, which you can access through the
DAS registration page.
There are also quite a few additional resources while planning your trip available on the
Accessibility page. It includes tips, tools, resources, and guides for making trips to the Disneyland Resort more accessible for all Guests.
Thanks again for your question, Annamarie. I hope you have a wonderful time making new magical memories with your son later this year!
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
