Hi there Cheryl,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question. I'm so happy to hear that you are headed to the Happiest Place on Earth - how fun!
I'm also thrilled to share that the
Accessibility hub on the Disneyland Resort website was recently expanded and is now full of helpful resources, tips, and guides for people of all abilities. It's conveniently separated into different tabs to help organize everything you need in one place. I specifically wanted to call out the
Service Animals tab that walks through guidelines, relief areas, and more!
Since you mentioned that you'll be driving to California, it might also be helpful to check out the
Parking page, which also includes helpful information on theme park disabled parking if you need it.
Traveling to the Happiest Place on Earth with a little one adds so much extra magic! Keep in mind that there are
Baby Care Centers located in both parks that can be an absolute lifesaver. Not only do they offer a temperature-controlled and quiet environment, but they also include a changing room, feeding area, kitchen with a sink, and a vending machine with just about anything you can think of that you might have forgotten available for purchase. We have used these quite a bit with our kiddos during our visits - they are so helpful!
Thanks again for your question, Cheryl. I hope you have a wonderful visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. Make sure to come back and see us here at planDisney if you think of any follow up questions - we'd love to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
