My son will arrive at Ft Wilderness after 10:00 p.m. due to flight times. Can we order some food for them for their late arrival? Or, we have Wilderness Lodge reservations that night. Will they allow a 'doggy bag' or take out so they don't do hungry?

Hi, Darlene!  On weeknights, you can grab a decent dinner at Trails To Go at Fort Wilderness up until 9:30, and on weekends, they are open until 10 PM.  You can get pizza, salads, sandwiches, or their famous fried chicken to take out back to your cabin or campsite.  I can't speak for the other items, but I have personal knowledge that the pizza isn't half bad cold.

As a matter of routine, the table service restaurants at Walt Disney World do not do take away meals.  Having said that, I have gotten a meal to bring back to the hotel when my daughter got sick, and I have at other times been able to ask for a meal to be packed to go when we have had to leave due to a sick child.  If you are dining there, they may be able to provide you with a nice meal to take back with you.  There is also a counter service location at Wilderness Lodge, Roaring Fork, where you can get food to take out.  The grill there is open nightly until 11:30, and you can get other items up until midnight.  They have soups salads, sandwiches, and flatbreads.

I always love it when my grown up daughter still has the chance to join us on a family vacation!  I'm excited for you, and I hope you have an awesome time!
