Hello! My son is 2 and when we arrive to our hotel on check in day he will be 2, but the very next day is our first day at the parks and he will be 3! Will I have to buy a ticket for him or since he's 2 at the time of travel will he not need a ticket?

Welcome to planDisney, Payton! You are going to have so much fun during your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort with your family next Autumn! Thanks for sending us your planning question.

I have good news! Mouseketeers who are under the age of three upon arrival to the Resort are Mickey’s special guests, even if they celebrate their birthday during your family's vacation. This means they will not need a valid theme park ticket to enjoy the theme parks with family and friends. He will be good to go for the length of your stay!

During your adventures at all four theme parks, you will want to check out the Baby Care Centers. They are a great place to change and feed your little one. They’re also stocked with lots of baby and toddler essentials, like baby food and even over the counter medications. I have visited them many times with my girls through the years!

Payton, I hope this information is helpful to you as you continue to plan your vacation. Please feel free to come back to see us if you have any more questions. It's always our pleasure to help you!
