Greetings to you, Janice, I’m so glad you asked this question!
Happy birthday to your son! I love that you’re giving him pixie dust for all the Disney magic!
Yes, you can send him a
Disney eGift Card for most purchases during his
Disneyland Resort visit. Once he receives the email with the gift card, he’ll want to register at
DisneyGiftCard.com to view his balance and transfer balances between cards. He can also add the gift card to his mobile device for tap to pay. Some table service dining locations may not accept tap-to-pay yet, or systems can sometimes be glitchy, so I do recommend that he get the minimum amount on a physical gift card once on site, and he can transfer from your gift card to the physical to pay in some of the restaurants if needed. He can also
mobile order food and pay for merchandise in the
Disneyland app with a gift card!
I love using Disney Gift Cards on my visits, it also helps to budget out spending - because any time I go, I want to try all the treats and buy all the merchandise. Since he will be visiting during
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, he can also use a gift card to purchase a
Sip and Savor Pass for
Disney Festival of Holidays! I recommend he check out the
Foodie Guide for all the culinary treats and novelty items before his visit.
I do hope this has been helpful Janice, but if you or your son have any other questions, please feel free to visit planDisney again -
we’re here to help!Happy Holidays!
