Would my son and I be aloud to put a foldable, "travel" electric scooter in the back of the standard Lyft Minivan suburban or are we restricted to the full size accessible minivans?

    Hey there, Eric!

It's been a little while since your last visit to planDisney, and I'm so happy to see you here again! Thanks for returning with your question, and welcome!

It looks like your summertime visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth is almost here! I just got home from my own Disney trip a few days ago, and I’m already planning my next visit. I’m sure you’re in that exciting last-minute packing stage, double-checking your list and making sure you have everything ready before you head off for your vacation. That countdown is always one of the best parts, and I’m so excited for you to experience all the magic that’s waiting!

How fun that you're hoping to ride in style with a Minnie Van during your visit! You'll be happy to know that you are not limited to using only the accessible Minnie Vans. If your travel scooter folds up, you can store it in the trunk area and use a standard Minnie Van for your transportation needs.

The accessible Minnie Vans are a wonderful option if you plan to remain in your mobility device during the ride, but if you prefer to transfer to a regular seat, storing your foldable scooter in the back of the vehicle is a great alternative. This gives you a little more flexibility while still enjoying the convenience and comfort of the Minnie Van service!

As a quick reminder, if you're staying at a Disney Resort, you'll have the opportunity to purchase your Lightning Lane passes beginning 7 days before your check-in date. If you're not staying on property, you can purchase Lightning Lane passes starting 3 days before each individual park day right on your My Disney Experience app.

Eric, I hope you have the most magical vacation at the most magical place! Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney.

    See ya real soon,
