    My son (18) and I have ADR for Be Our Guest lunch at 2:10. Will we miss the parade or is it possible to do both? If we have to choose, what is your recommendation? We haven't been to Disney in 10 years...always loved the parade back then.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Dawn!

    I am so excited for you to see all that is new at Walt Disney World Resort since your last visit! Lunch at Be Our Guest and Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade are both wonderful experiences; I'd hate for you to have to choose just one. Let me give you a couple of ideas.

    I see Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is scheduled for 3:00 pm during your visit. With lunch at 2:10, time is a bit tight. There are so many interesting details to enjoy in Beast's Castle; you won't want to rush through your meal. I recommend trying to move your reservation time a little bit earlier. Other guests' plans change all the time. You might see availability open up a day or two prior. You might also do an internet search for "Disney reservation finder". There are some independent websites that will alert you if a table becomes available at the time you are looking for.

    If you are unable to secure an earlier time, I think it is still possible for you to do both. I recommend arriving around 15-20 minutes prior to your reservation time to see if perhaps you can be accommodated early. Most importantly, be sure to pre-order your meal online, up to 30 days in advance. You'll see this option pop up in My Disney Experience. This is a HUGE time-saver!

    Be sure to have your camera ready when Maleficent makes her way down the parade route -- she's amazing!
