Hi there, Diane!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! This morning, I was just thinking about when my daughter and I enjoyed
Afternoon Tea at the Garden View Tea Room for her sweet 16. It was our first time having afternoon tea and was also during the holiday season, just like you are planning for your visit in December. We arrived early so we could view all the beautiful decor at
Disney's Grand Floridan Resort & Spa, including the life-size Gingerbread House and the breathtaking Victorian-inspired Christmas tree. And it was the perfect backdrop to our first tea experience!
Diane, I searched the Walt Disney World Resort website for a current menu for Afternoon Tea at the Garden View Tea Room and did not have any luck. I was able to see some pictures of their offerings when clicking on "View Gallery" on the description page. I also looked back at my pictures and can tell you we enjoyed finger sandwiches, cheese, fresh fruit, the most delicious scones, delicate pastries, and tea. I do recall several menus to select from all with similar offerings and an option to order champagne. I also found a Disney Parks Blog article from a few yEARs ago on
dining at the Garden View Tea Room that may be of some help.
I'm so excited for you to experience afternoon tea at such a lovely venue, Diane. It is definitely something I'd like to enjoy again in the future. Thank you for sending in your question, and have a magical time this
holiday season at the Walt Disney World Resort!
Nancy
