    Is there somewhere else to get Mickey Beignets since Port Orleans Resort French Quarter is not open? They are my daughter’s favorite.

    Thank you for your sweet question that now has me craving a cup of strong coffee and a Mickey beignet. The opening date of Disney’s Port Orleans- French Quarter is scheduled for October 14, 2021, and at the moment I am not sure if this will include Scat Cat’s Club where Guests can find this popular confectioner powdered sugar, doughy treat. Depending on the length of your stay and a little bit of Faith, Trust and SUGARY Pixie Dust there is a possibility. I suggest keeping an eye on the Scat Cat’s Club-Cafe page for updates and/or the Disney Parks Blog.

    However, if an evil spell is cast and it does not open during your visit, can I suggest one of the Funnel Cakes in Epcot near The American Adventure pavilion to potentially break the spell and satisfy your daughter’s craving. While I know I could suggest a doughnut at the new Everglazed Donut & Cold Brew at Disney Springs in West Side, there is something about the simplicity of fried dough dusted with just enough sweetness to tempt the flavor palate for more. 

    I am wishing upon a star your daughter’s dream comes true but sometimes the adventure lies in new delectable treats you discover upon each trip to Walt Disney World.
