Hiya Casey,
Welcome to planDisney! Everything is magical about bringing little Mouseketeers to the Most Magical Place on Earth. There is nothing more incredible than watching their eyes light up as they see their favorite character or the fireworks light up the night sky. I mean, everything is magical, well, except the luggage part. Every time I travel with my children, I feel like I'm moving into Cinderella Castle, thanks to all the luggage and car seats.
Unfortunately, Casey, there is no designated place to store car seats at the four theme parks. Depending on the size of the car seat, you may be able to store one in a
jumbo-sized locker (as long as it is smaller than 17" x 22" x 26"), but those locker sizes are only available at EPCOT or Magic Kingdom. Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios also have lockers, but their largest size is 15.5" x 13" x 17". The lockers are also available on a first-come, first-served basis, so there are no guarantees they will be available for you when you go to the theme parks. For these reasons, I wouldn't recommend bringing your car seat with you to the theme parks.
Casey, if you plan to be our Guest at one of the resort hotels and want to use a rideshare service to get to the theme parks, then I recommend the
Minnie Van service. As a mom of two under three, it is my preferred way of getting around Walt Disney World Resort. It operates through Lyft, so you reserve it just as you would a regular ride; you select the Minnie Van instead. Cast Members drive Minnie Vans, and my favorite part is that they come equipped with the option to use up to two car seats (provided). The Cast Members are trained to install the car seats safely so you can feel confident not to bring yours with you, which would solve the storage problem.
I hope this was helpful, Casey! Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
