Welcome to planDisney, Dana! Winnie the Pooh once said, "Christmas is a togethery sort of holiday." It sounds like you are planning some fun family together time during the holidays! I'm happy to give you some ideas.
Unfortunately, Disneyland Resort has gone digital and doesn't send out any printed materials before your trip. One option might be to request a copy of your booking by contacting the Disneyland Call Center at (714) 520-7059. This way, you can print out your vacation package itinerary, including your Resort Hotel stay and tickets. To make things more exciting, I recommend pairing it with Mickey and Minnie plushes or Disneyland Resort tee shirts from
shopdisney.com. A friend of mine did this recently, and she put them in a big box along with some helium Disney balloons from our local Dollar Store. Make sure to record their reaction because these memories are priceless! For some more creative ideas, tune into the latest planDisney Podcast, which is all about Disney Gift Giving.
Disneyland in February is typically considered one of the 'off-season' months at the parks, but the lower crowd levels make it an ideal time to visit! High temperatures are in the upper 60s, making it very comfortable, but it is one of the rainier months, so be sure to pack those ponchos!
Lunar New Year runs through February 15, 2023, and it is a fun celebration of Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese traditions. The
Marketplace Kiosks serve tasty Asian cuisine! In addition, you can look forward to the opening of
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway and the
100 Years of Wonder Celebration, which kick off at the end of January 2023.
I HO HO HOpe this helps, Dana! May your Disney days be merry and bright!
