    Can you use someone’s old magic bands?

    Welcome to planDisney, Aimee! I'm so happy to see that you're busy planning your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks for sending us your question.

    MagicBands can be used by the same person any time a valid theme park ticket is linked to it, but bands that have been previously used cannot be reassigned to another person.

    There are so many adorable styles for MagicBands you can purchase online before your visit or even at the theme parks during your adventures!

    You can easily link a band via your My Disney Experience app. When you open the app, tap on the three lines at the bottom right. Then select “Tickets and Passes” to link your tickets. Then go to “My Profile” and tap on “MagicBands & Cards” and scroll down to “Link a MagicBand or Card” to link your bands to each member in your party.
